Srinagar, January 15:
There are chances of change in the weather of Jammu and Kashmir again. According to Meteorological Center Srinagar, after 16 and 18, there may be rain and snowfall in some parts of the state on 20 January. Tourists and travelers have been advised to travel as per the advisory of administration/traffic.
Cold wave continues to prevail in the state. Due to clear weather, the day temperature has improved, but shivering continues at night.
The capital Srinagar recorded a day temperature of 7.7, Pahalgam 6.0 and Gulmarg 4.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. In most parts of Jammu division, the day temperature is 2 to 3 degrees above normal.
In Jammu, the weather was almost clear with light clouds. The maximum temperature here rose 2.4 degrees above normal to 19.9. The minimum temperature was recorded at 6.4 degrees. The maximum temperature in Banihal was 13.8, in Batote 14.0, in Katra 18.7 and in Bhaderwah 13.0 degrees. The maximum temperature in Leh was recorded at 1.6 degrees.
