SIA’s action in double murder case: 1990 file reopened after 36 years, team reached nine locations to find old secrets

Srinagar, August 12:
The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday raided nine locations in Jammu and Kashmir. The raid is in connection with the investigation of an old 1990 double murder case.

The case pertains to the abduction and murder of Kashmiri Pandit writer and social activist Sarbananda Kaul Premi and his son Virendra Kaul.

According to officials, the SIA Kashmir team took this action under FIR No. 45/1990 registered at Dooru police station in Anantnag district. The long-pending case is now under investigation by the SIA.
