Jammu, June 27:
The police have unearthed a case of theft of lakhs of rupees from a shop in Channi police station area. The police arrested three accused, including an employee of the shop, and recovered Rs 1.10 lakh in cash and 5 stolen LEDs from their possession.
According to the police, a case was registered and investigation was launched after receiving a complaint of theft. During the investigation, the police used CCTV cameras installed around the spot. Based on scanning camera footage and suspicious activities, an employee of the shop was detained.
During interrogation, the accused confessed his involvement in the theft incident and also revealed the names of his 2 accomplices. After this, the police raided various places and arrested both the accused. The arrested accused have been identified as Dharmendra Kumar (shop worker), Manish Kumar and Sagar Kumar.
