Jammu, October 29:
The encounter which started between terrorists and Indian Army in Batal area of Palanwala sector on LoC, ended today after 27 hours. Three terrorists have been killed in a joint operation.
During the encounter, members of the International Hindu Council expressed their anger against Pakistan by burning the Pakistani flag at a distance of a hundred meters from the incident site. They raised slogans of Indian Army and Police Zindabad and Pakistan Moradabad. The SSP said that during this operation only a dog pant of the Para branch of the Army was martyred. Apart from this, no civilian police or army personnel were harmed. Local people have praised the security forces for this successful operation. The administration has said that additional steps will be taken to ensure peace and security in the area.
