Staff at AIIMS forgot to lie in the therapy machine: Woman kept scorching for half an hour, did not admit even after being scorched

Jammu, March 31:
A case of negligence has come to light during therapy at AIIMS Jammu. Indu Devi, a resident of Kathua, said that she was undergoing skin therapy from AIIMS.

On March 24, she reached the hospital. She was told to come on March 25. The next day, she was put in a machine.
After turning on the machine, the staff and related personnel went out. The machine continued to run for about half an hour.

This created excessive heat. When the heat was not tolerated, she tried to get out, which also caused an electric shock. The woman alleges that the upper part of the stomach and neck have been scorched. The woman alleged that despite the serious condition, the doctors of AIIMS refused to admit her and sent her home after giving medicines. The woman’s family says that in such a case, the patient should have been admitted to the ICU. Indu is taking treatment at home. It is being told that the woman has suffered 30 percent burns.
The family has demanded an inquiry into the matter and action against the responsible doctors. According to them, an FIR will be lodged against the AIIMS administration at the police station. Vijaypur police station in-charge Sumit Sharma said that they have not received any complaint so far.

AIIMS Director DN Sharma said that I have no information about the incident in the case of the female patient’s burns during therapy and the negligence of the staff. Nor has anybody complained about it.
