Russian Foreign Minister said- Putin will visit India soon

Moscow, March 27:
Russian President Vladimir Putin will soon visit India. He has accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation to visit India. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov gave information in this regard on Thursday. He said that preparations are underway for Putin’s visit to India. However, the date of Putin’s visit was not disclosed. This will be the first time the Russian President will visit India since the Russia-Ukraine war began.
A conference titled ‘Russia and India Towards a New Bilateral Agenda’ was organised by the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), which was addressed by Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov via video conferencing.
Prime Minister Modi visited Russia in July 2024, which was his first visit in almost five years. Earlier, he visited the Far Eastern city of Vladivostok to attend an economic conference in 2019. During his 2024 visit, PM Modi had invited Putin to visit India. (Agencies)
