Srinagar, April 29:
A Tavera vehicle was carrying nine people on the Srinagar-Leh highway. Then the vehicle rolled into the Sindh river in Gagangair area. Three people were immediately rescued by the rescue team while the other six went missing. The bodies of five of these have been recovered.
Rescue operations continued for the second day on Monday in Sonamarg area of Ganderbal district of central Kashmir. A vehicle carrying nine passengers fell into the Sindh river here on Sunday evening. Six people traveling in the vehicle went missing in the accident, while three were saved. The bodies of five of these people have been recovered so far.
