Jammu, August 27:
The operation of important trains passing through Jammu remained affected for the second day on Wednesday. According to the railway administration, some trains ran on time, while many had to be cancelled.
Passengers were informed at the station itself and alternative arrangements were suggested. Amidst all this, passengers had to face problems at Jammu railway station. The road route was already affected and the rail route remained affected for the second day as well, due to which passengers had to face problems.
Railways has urged passengers to get information about train status from NTES (National Train Enquiry System) or helpline before travelling.
