Jammu, May 17:
The Jammu Municipal Corporation has started finalizing its preparations for Census-2027.
Training work is also going on at a fast pace with the appointment of officers, enumerators and supervisors.
During the meeting, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav said that the census campaign will be conducted in 75 wards and 15 OG areas of JMC.
The Commissioner said that the training of about 85 per cent of the enumerators and supervisors has been completed.
The process of self-count will run from 17th May 2026 to 30th May 2026.
Here’s how to self-enumerate for Census 2027
https://se.census.gov.in Open the official portal.
Register by entering the name and mobile number of the head of the family.
Select the language by verifying through OTP.
Fill in the district, pin code and area information.
Fill out the Family and Housing Questionnaire.
Check the information filled and submit the ‘Final Submission’.
Protect the SE ID issued after submission.
When the census worker comes home, get the verification done by showing the SE ID.
