Jammu Aug 9: To demand statehood for Jammu and Kashmir, Partap Singh Jamwal (Poltical Activist) has reiterated that Dogra youth is committed for statehood for J&K.
He said that people of J&K remain more connected with political parties like Congress and BJP also regional parties but these parties were more concerned about Delhi. “These poltical parties have used people of J&K as vote bank.
He said that the decision of the Modi government is full of shock and offence for the nationalist people of J&K who are feeling betrayed and downgraded. The lowering of the status of a 200-year-old Dogra state to a UT is irking the minds of the people, who felt disgraced and dishonored.
He said youth of J&K had endorsed the abrogation of Article 370 & 35A but we are strongly opposed to the dismantling of 200 year old historical State of J&K and downgrading it to the level of UT.
He said the people of J&K would never be able to accept the changes that came with the nullification of scrapped statehood status for J&K.
He said we will fight tooth and nail to achieve the statehood for Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that We have charted out a detailed plan for statehood for J&K for next six months.
He added that we will soon launch a campagin in favour of their demand. He demanded to the Modi goverment the Statehood for J&k should be brought back.
