R.S.PURA, Dec 25:
Members of Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Sabha visited the lord Shiva temple at Village Chak Mohd Yar of Tehsil R.S.Pura.
While offering prayer, R.L.Kaith said that lord Shiva is mercy and compassion incarnate. He protects the devotees from the negative tendencies like greed and anger, he said.
Locals said, This temple was built in 1998 on an area of about six Kanals land and its Shikhar is about 50-60 feet high from ground level which is visible from many nearby villages.
Adding further they said, The temple welcomes everyone irrespective of their caste, creed and religion.
Prominent among the JKBS members who visited the temple included Subedar Tilak Raj Motan, Havildar Des Raj Kaith and Jagdish Raj Kaith.
