Jammu and Kashmir to declare holiday on March 13 Find out what will be closed

Srinagar, March 12:
The UT government has changed the date of the official holiday announced on the occasion of Juma-tul-Vida.

Now the holiday will be celebrated on March 13 (Friday) instead of March 20.

According to the order issued by the government, the decision has been taken by making a partial amendment to the government order issued on December 12, 2025.

The order said that in view of ‘Juma-tul-Vida’, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramzan. There will now be a government holiday on March 13 in the whole of Jammu and Kashmir. This order has been issued on the instructions of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
