Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir UT president Manish Sahni said that it become impossible for the common man to earn two time bread for their family.  Labours , taxis and auto drivers,  street vendors ,footpaths and beggars  have reached the brink of starvation.

As per press statement issued to mercury times, president UT , J&K Manish Sahni expressed deep concern over the skyrocketing prices of common goods and hit of earning due to the epidemics and lockdown the leaders of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit urges  to  provide free food and cash help for the poor and needy people of Jammu & Kashmir.

Sahni said that the current figures are almost certain that the lockdown is going to be prolonged.  He urges the Honorable Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, to launch a ‘Free Meal Scheme’ with cash assistance  for the poor and needy people of J&K.

Seeking to learn from the Government of Maharashtra, Sahni said that, despite facing the biggest impact of the Covid epidemic, Maharashtra Govt  has emerged as a role model in helping its people with better health facilities, free Shiv Thali and cash.

He further said that as  instructed  by the  party’s National Secretary and MP Honorable Anil Desai, there was a plan to provide free food in the party office Jammu for which a written appeal was made to the DM  of Jammu, whose answer is still awaited.

On this occasion President Mehila wing Meenakshi Chibber ,Gen Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Mehila Secretary Geeta Lakhotra. Dimple and youth leader Rakesh Handa were present.
