Jammu, February 6:
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah held a virtual meeting with the District Development Council Chairman and MLAs on Wednesday. In this, there was a discussion on providing funds for the development of the district. The DDC said that a discussion was held about the fund of one hundred crores kept in the budget. Ramgarh MLA Dr. Devender Manyal said that information was sought about the budget to be given to the MLA.
Funds worth 100 crores have been received for the district. He gave information about development works worth 32 crores for the assembly constituency. These include an ITI, a mini secretariat, a school where students from 1st to 12th standard can study in the same school. Higher Secondary School of Ramgarh was chosen for this. It was said that a separate fund of 20 crores will be given for making two stadiums, one at Shama Chak and one at Pangdour, and Baba Chamliyal and Swankha as border heritage for the Ramgarh assembly constituency.
