Jammu, July 30:
As the precautionary measure due to recent terrorists attack in Jammu division, the administration set a time limit for vehicles on the Budha Amarnath Yatra.
Such an arrangement has been in place only on the Jammu-Srinagar highway during the Amarnath Yatra so far.
The groups coming for the yatra will have to cross Bimbergali before 4 pm. And those returning will have to cross it before 12 noon. After this, no group or vehicle will be allowed to proceed further. The nationwide Budha Amarnath Yatra of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad will run from 7 to 17 August.
Additional District Development Deputy Commissioner of Poonch, Sandesh Kumar Sharma, issued this order on Monday and sent its copy to all senior officers including Divisional Commissioner, ADGP Jammu. The administration has requested the visitors to strictly follow this arrangement.
