Samba, January 26:
An intruder was killed by BSF personnel along the International Border (IB) in Ramgarh area of Samba district. Police said that the action was taken near Majra post, where the suspected person was trying to cross the border.
The BSF personnel took precautionary measures while foiling the infiltration attempt and killed the intruder in retaliation.
After the incident, the BSF has taken possession of the body from the spot.
It is being told that the slain intruder was a resident of Lahore in Pakistan.
At present, the body is being brought to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Hospital Ramgarh for further legal process.
The BSF and other security agencies are investigating the entire matter.
