Srinagar, December 7:
32 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army today organised a medical camp at Nadihal in Baramulla district of Kashmir. The camp was aimed at providing essential healthcare services to the rural communities. Around 500 persons, including children and elderly from Nadihal, Tragpora and surrounding villages attended the camp.
The participants were provided with free medical consultation, advice and medicines as per their health condition. The event was a collaborative effort between Army doctors and the civil health department aimed at meeting the medical needs in areas with limited healthcare facilities. The experts at the camp also conducted awareness sessions on lifestyle disease prevention and provided practical advice on health management.
The locals appreciated the initiative and expressed their gratitude to the Indian Army for its continuous efforts in improving access to basic healthcare services in remote areas. The villagers acknowledged the importance of such camps which help in building trust, camaraderie and dialogue between the Army and the community. The villagers hoped for more such camps in the future.
