Jammu, August 13:
Intensifying the anti-drugs drive, a team from Bahu Fort police station has apprehended one accused named Mintu and recovered 2.548 kg of ganja-like substance from him.
In this case, FIR No. 253/2026 has been registered at the Bahu Fort Police Station.
Further investigations are underway to ascertain the source of the recovered narcotics and its further connections and identify others involved in the illicit drug trade.
Senior police officers have appreciated the dedicated efforts of the police team involved in the operation.
Jammu Police also appeals to the general public to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies. People should share any information related to drug trafficking or drug abuse. Collective efforts and active participation of the public are essential to create a safe, healthy and drug-free society.
