Jammu, February 15:
Jambu Zoo located in Nagrota, is going to become more attractive for tourism and wildlife lovers in the coming time. While preparations are underway for the arrival of new wild species in this sprawling complex surrounded by natural hills.
The work has been expedited on the plan to develop the Lake of Zoo in a new and grand form.
The administration plans to increase the scope of the lake by next year and develop it on the lines of the famous Sukhna Lake of Chandigarh.
Stone pitching will be done on the banks of the lake. The construction of a check dam is also proposed. So that the soil does not accumulate in the lake during future rains.
When the calm waters of the developed lake, the lush green surroundings and the new wildlife come together.
