Live For Others-Being Helpful Foundation (NGO) hosted 1st ever 3 days long National Youth Exchange Programme (NYEP) in J&K, U.T on theme “Role of Youth in Nation Building By Raising Voice Against Drug Menanceā & National Youth Excellence Award-2023 under the leadership of Mr. Vivek Parihar (Director & C.E.O) & Mr. Vishal Singh (Director & C.O.O) at P.S.P.S Govt. P.G COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, Gandhi Nagar which is Powered by Talla Jewellers.
In a statement issued to mercury times, in this 3 day camp participants from different states were participating alongs with the students of different educational institutions of Jammu which includes P.S.P.S Govt. P.G COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, Gandhi Nagar, MAM COLLEGE , G.G.M.SC.COLLEGE, G.C.O.E CANAL ROAD, Shiksha Niketan(Jeevan Nagar), Commerce college & S.D.Tarapuri Public High School.
On day 1st, Poster Making Competition and Symposium Competition inaugurated by Chief Guest Former Cabinet Minister R.S Chib along with Guest Of Honour Jasvir Singh, DDC Pancheri Mongri, Udhampur, Special Guests were Tariq Ahmed Shera, President of Angels Cultural Academy & SKLCWS and Anirudh Raina, President DASU under the theme āRole of Youth in Nation Building By Raising Voice Against Drugs MenanceāThe winners of Poster Making competition were Meghana Goude (1st Position), Yeasmin Nahar (2nd Position) & Manisha Kumari (3rd Position) were announced by judges Malla Bhasin, NSS Coordinator, CLUJ & the winners of Symposium Competition were Arushi from M.A.M College (1st Position), Geetika from M.A.M College (2nd Position) & Shreya Kalla from P.S.P.S P.G College For Women, Gandhi Nagar (3rd Position) were announced by Ms. Sugandha, NSS PO P.S.P.S Govt P.G College For Women, Gandhi Nagar and Ilyas followed by Cultural Evening which was inaugurated by Chief Guest Sh. Rajinder Singh, Mayor of Jammu followed by Guest of Honour Ranjeet Kour, STO (JKAS) and Mala Bhasin, NSS Coordinator, CLUJ & Special Guest Nidhi Abrol, Founder & President of Gracious Giver.
On day 2nd, Sh. Chandan Kohli, SSP Jammu City inaugurated the awarness rally under the theme āRole of Youth in Nation Building By Raising Voice Against Drugs Menanceā in which various students from different institutions took part. The rally started from P.S.P.S Govt. College For Women, Gandhi Nagar to Dogra Chowk and back in which the youth raised various slogans against Drug Abuse and Menance. Students from different institutions also performed āNukkad Natakā to aware the crowd and general public more about āDrugs & its abuseā and followed by cultural evening which was inaugurated by Chief Guest Kashish Gupta, CEO Talla Jewellers, Guest of Honour Tamanna Seth, STO (JKAS) and Special Guest Bharat Bhushan Langhar, owner of Bahu Express.
On day 3rd which was the last day of the programme, Chief Guest Padma Bhushan Jenab Ghulam Nabi Azad (Former C.M J&K & Presidnet DPAP) of the day along with Guest of Honour, Padma Shri Sh. Mohan Singh and various special guests including Ms. Kashish Gupta, (CEO Talla Jewellers), Tavinder Kour, Regional Director Sanfort School & Owner of Natural Saloon, Mala Bhasin, NSS Coordinator, CLUJ, Mr. Gorav Chopra, Mr. Salman Nizami & Mr. Vishal Chopra.
Worthy Chief Guest honoured 25 Social Workers namely Mohit Sharma, Kajal Yadav, Gaurav Arya, Dr. Nitika Singh Gaur (From U.P), Sachin Nandi, Saathi Foundation (From Jharkhand), Azar Sumaiya Riyaz Motiwale, Meghana Shantaram Bhalekar, Pradnya Kalpana Shahji Sawant, Shubham Shailesh Gupta (From Maharashtra), Hrishi Sardana (Delhi), Mohit Yadav (Rajasthan), Pramesh Vijaywar (Chhattisgarh), Patel Mayurkumar Hirabhai (Gujarat), Vijayanti (Chandigarh), Chandan Kumar Dubey (Bihar), Sanjaykumar Y Biradar (Karnataka), Davera Manoj Khanna (Telangana), Ankit Chourasiya (Madhya Pradesh), P. Venkata Chaitanya Narayana (Andhra Pradesh), Lovepreet Sharma (Punjab), Irfan Ahmed, Sahil Ali, Stuti Abrol, Afreen Barkat (From J&K) were from 16 states of the Nation who excelled in their continuous and tireless efforts for making this world a better place for every living being. Along with them the winners, participants and various artists were awarded for their outstanding performances.
More than 300 youth & students participated in this 3 day long National Youth Exchange Programme & National Youth Excellence Award 2023. On 3rd day Padma Bhushan Jenab Ghulam Nabi Azad, Cheif Guest of the day also launched the website of the organisation (www.lfobhf.com).
Live for Others -Being Helpful Foundation also announced the best male and best female volunteer for session 2022-2023. Abhishek Gupta awarded as best male volunteer & Navya Verma awarded as best female volunteer.
