‘BJP launched Operation Lotus in the Valley, BJP managed to oust Ruhullah from NC’, says Salman Sagar

Srinagar, November 4:
The National Conference on Wednesday levelled serious allegations against the BJP. It said that the party has successfully carried out its ‘Operation Lotus’ in Kashmir as well. NC MLA Salman Sagar alleged that the BJP forced Ruhullah to part ways with the party.
Salman Sagar in a press conference said that the BJP had earlier succeeded in inducting leaders like Devendra Singh Rana and Surjit Singh Salathia into its party in Jammu. Now it has carried out ‘Operation Lotus’ in the Kashmir Valley as well.

The NC MLA suspected that there was a major political reason behind Ruhullah’s resignation. He said that Ruhullah has chosen an excuse to distance himself from the party. The real reasons behind it will be revealed in due time.

He also responded to Ruhullah remarks on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. Sagar said that the National Conference is not so weak that the party will be shaken by the arrival or departure of a single leader. He claimed that since 1947, there have been attempts by Delhi to weaken the NC.

Salman Sagar said that the party is keeping an eye on all the developments. He claimed that all the NC MLAs are united and their differences will be sorted out in the next one or two days.
