CM Omar’s increased difficulties! Important meeting in Gupkar to persuade disgruntled MLAs

Srinagar, November 6:
A meeting between Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and MLAs who were upset over the recent cabinet reshuffle and expansion soon began at the Gupkar residence of Dr Farooq Abdullah. Sources said that the MLA reached the meeting place in the morning.

The meeting is aimed at pacifying the MLAs and preventing further escalation of differences within the party.
As already mentioned, the top leaders of the NC had this morning asked the disgruntled MLAs to keep the independent MLAs out of the delegation meeting the CM and the party president.

It is understood that the disgruntled MLAs have the support of three independent MLAs. Sources said that Thanamandi MLA Muzaffar Khan is not attending the meeting.

The MLAs are upset over the recent reshuffle and neglect of detail. They have demanded a resolution of their grievances from the party leadership. The outcome of the meeting is expected to determine the way forward for the angry camp within the National Conference.
