Jammu, April 25:
Following the appeal of Prime Minister of India to make cloth face masks at home and distribute them to needy people, Yudhvir Sethi, J&K UT BJP Vice President on Saturday distributed masks and sanitizers at people’s doorstep of Ward No 7, Christan colony ,Residency Road Jammu East Constituency.
Yudhvir Sethi was accompanied by Mandel President Jammu East Parveen Kerni,VP Mandel Vinod Gupta, Mandel General Secretary Jammu East Vipin Sharma, Distt. President Minority Morcha Jammu Asif Gill.
Sethi said that the mask distribution drive have been started across the Jammu and Kashmir with an aim to boost the enthusiasm of all those who are fighting this war from the front. He said that BJP activists have been on forefront to provide their service to the society at this crucial hour. He said that he takes this as his responsibility and told that he has been continuously engaged from the initial stage to provide essentials to the needy persons.
Yudhvir also appealed to the people of J&K to get united and support Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UT Government’s proactive measures to contain the spread of coronavirus contagion and strictly follow guidelines issued on various occasions.
The J&K BJP Vice President urged people to cooperate with the government and maintain social distancing besides remaining confined to their homes to combat spread of coronavirus, as without cooperation of citizens it would be hard to achieve desired results of making India free from COVID-19. He also appealed to the people to come forward to donate ration and other essential items so that a large number of families, in distress, may be covered and provided ration items as an interim relief. He also laid stress upon the party workers to ensure that ration, medicines and other necessary commodities are provided to needy persons, while maintaining personal hygiene and social distance.
