On the occasion of World Health Day Indian Army conducted medical patrol to reach out to people residing in far flung and inaccessible areas of Kaindora / Gulabgarh in Reasi district. It is often observed that, people especially elderly, women and children residing in higher reaches are deprived of basic health care facility.
Hence, the aim of medical patrol was to attend to such people and provide medical assistance at their doorsteps. A total of 106 persons( 25 Male, 39 Female and 42 Children) of all ages got benefitted from the initiative. The medical patrol team provided the much needed medicines and medical advice to the villagers. The initiative would not only ensure good health but also strengthen the connect with Awam.
