A deputation of PRI members of Panchari Moungri along with Jasvir Singh, DDC Councillor Panchari Moungri met with Executive Engineer JPDCL Electric Division Udhampur regarding the burning issue of hike in electricity fare ,flat rates, proper meter reading, and to help the common masses in possible ways.
Sarpanch Dandota Shamsher Singh, Sarpanch Lower Meer Lashman Dass Sharma, and Sarpanch Damnote Hans Raj and others joined the deputation.
They submitted a memorandum regarding concerns for the common masses after the increase in flat rates for consumers without the electric meters and to ensure the proper meter reading of those who have installed the electric meter.
While taking to media , Jasvir Singh said that they will meet the Managing Director JPDCL and Commissioner Secretary Power Development Department (PDD) J&K shortly regarding this issue.
He said that matter was raised with Worthy Deputy Commissioner Udhampur also.
He said that we are deeply concerned about the interest of the public at large. Few things are with the UT government and we are trying to take the issue to the highest platform as there is also need to fulfill the vacant posts and to provide smooth electricity services to the public for maximum hours.
