Jammu, April 10:
The speed of traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway has once again slowed down. From 1600 hrs on 09-04-2026 to 1600 hrs on 10-04-2026. Due to single lane traffic between Nashri and Kishtwari Patthar on NH-44.
Passengers/LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) drivers are advised to travel on Jammu-Srinagar NHW during day time only.
Travelling at night should be avoided as there is a risk of stone falls/landslides.
NH-44 (NHW) is still closed due to landslides and falling stones at Nashri and Chandrakot on the Jammu-Srinagar NHW, and the ‘Up Tube’ (downward tunnel) at Shalaguri. The work of clearing the road is going on.
The Kishtwar-Synthan-Anantnag road has been temporarily closed for vehicular movement.
