Jammu, April 10:
The people are sweating in other plain areas of the division including Jammu. The heat has increased as the day temperature in most of the districts is 4 to 8 degrees above normal. According to the Meteorological Center Srinagar, it may rain in some parts of the state on 10 and 11 April.
In Jammu, the heat started bothering people from the morning of Wednesday.
The heat in the afternoon made people sweat profusely. The maximum temperature here rose 6.6 degrees above normal to 37.0 and the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.1 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was recorded at 22.2 in Banihal, 26.7 in Batote, 34.5 in Katra and 26.4 degrees Celsius in Bhaderwah.
