Train The Trainee Program of GeM portal organised by J&K BJP Mahila Morcha President Sanjita Dogra under the leadership of National GeM portal incharge & BJP Mahila Morcha NEM Usha Bajpai.
GeM is short form of one stop Government e- market place hosted by DGSND where common user and service can be procured. GeM is dynamic, self sustaining and user friendly portal for making procurement by government officies. The portal was launched launched On 9 th August 2016 by the commerce and Industryminister. Presently more than 7400 products in about 150 products categories amd hiring of transport service are available on GeMPOC portal.
Train the Trainee workshop come Awareness program on GeM portal was organised at Bjp headquarters Trikuta Nagar under the headship of Bjp Mahila morcha president Sanjita Dogra and National GeM portal incharge Smt. Usha Bajpai.
In a statement issued to mercury times, the event began with the lighting of traditional lamp by the prominent senior BJP leader Former Deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta, National GeM incharge Smt. Usha Bajpai , Mahila morcha president Smt. Sanjita Dogra, Mahila morcha parbhari Smt. Anuradha Charak, Mahila Morcha Seh parbhari Smt.Veenu khanna ,National executive member Smt. Updesh Andotra,State Spokespersons Rajni Sethi, General secretary’s Mahila Morcha Neha Gupta & Urvashi gupta and GeM portal incharge JK mahila morcha Vaishno devi, Anita Gandotra and Malti .
National GeM portal incharge Usha Bajpai narrated that GeM portal is the best platform for self reliant group especially for the Matri shakti. She said GeM eliminates the human interface in the vendor registration, order placement and payment processing,to a great extent . Being on open platform Gem offers no entry barrier to bonafide supplier who wish to do business with the government. She explained through the projector ,about the prerequisite for primary user registration are Aadhaar number of the primary user, Mobile number linked with Aadhaar or pancard,E-mail ID’s hosted by National Informatics Centre.
Senior Bjp leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta said Bjp government under the leadership of PM NarinderModi special attention has been paid on such programmes and welfare schemes which particularly aimed at making women self-reliant,dignified life and contribute in nation building
Mahila Morcha President Sanjita Dogra said that the GeM portal aims to enhance efficiency, transparency and speed in public procurement along with inclusion. Buying n services online as n when required . It is an efficient and cost saving specially for the women who does not have much of the access. She said our PM Narinder Modi is devoutly committed to building a strong and developed India which is unimaginable, without the trust and unflinchingly support of the Matri shakti of India. So large group of women from different districts and every walk of life promised to register on portal for self empowerment.
Anuradha Charak ,Veenu Khanna and Rajni Sethi also spoke on the occasion.State Mahila Morcha team,District President along with their general secretaries n matri shakti were present on the occasion.
