Jammu, July 30:
Traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) will be completely closed on July 31. This is due to repair and road widening work. The Udhampur and Ramban district administrations have issued this order on the request of NHAI.
The movement of all types of vehicles between Jakhaini (Udhampur) and Navayug Tunnel (Banihal) will be restricted during the repair work.
No vehicle will be allowed on the respective routes beyond Nagrota (Jammu) and Qazigund after 10 pm on July 30.
The administration has appealed to the passengers to get information about the traffic advisory before going on the journey.
