Srinagar, November 1:
Three persons were injured in a bear attack in Chhatarhama area on the outskirts of Srinagar district on Saturday.
According to information, the incident took place late on Friday evening when the three people were working in the garden.
The injured have been identified as Mehraj-ud-din, Mohammad Amin and Shahid Ahmad, all residents of Chatterhama. Hearing their screams, the locals reached there to save them, but by then the bear had injured all three.
He has been taken to Soura Hospital for treatment, where his condition is said to be out of danger. Meanwhile, a team of the wildlife department has reached there to trace the bear.
