A mortar shell was reported to have been found in a field in Rajpura village of Samba this morning.

After getting the information was received, the police reached the spot. Police have started further investigation by taking possession of the mortar shell.

According to the information, a mortar shell was found in the farmer’s field at around 8:30 am in Rajpura village of Samba district.

The farmer saw the shell, he immediately informed the police.

The shell was recovered about 800 meters from the Indian border.

After this, the officers who reached the spot took the front and took possession of the mortar shell. Along with this, they have also secured the surrounding area. Apart from this, the Mawa police post has also been informed. The shell was recovered about 800 meters from the Indian border.
