Important revelations have been made during interrogation of the guide of the terrorists arrested on the LoC in Jammu. The arrested guide works as a barber, whom the terrorists had paid 20 thousand rupees to take him to the border.
Mohammad Arif, from Datot village of PoJK, was arrested by the Army and BSF in Tarkundi sector of Rajouri on June 29. Sources say that during interrogation, Arif told that his village is about five kilometers away from the LoC.
He works as a barber and often visits many villages in the area.
A few days ago, some unknown people came to him. They said that they have to take him to the LOC.
In return, he was given 20 thousand rupees. He agreed to do this after taking the money. He was in the front and four people were following him. During this, as soon as he crossed the LOC, he was caught. Seeing this, the four people following him ran away.
The mobile phone recovered from Areef does not have a SIM card. It is suspected that at the time of his arrest he somehow managed to remove the SIM card. However, Areef told the police that there was no SIM card in his phone.
The police has sent the mobile phone to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Srinagar for investigation so that it can be seen whether the videos or photos have been deleted from it. Apart from this, where all the calls were made from the mobile phone and for how long was the SIM used.
