Kishtwar, September 9:
Amid rising tensions between China and India, the Indian military is on high alert and ready to retaliate against any move by China.
Describing Kishtwar as a very important place in terms of defence, special Apache helicopters were landed by the Kishtwar Army and the pilots landed and inspected the entire area.
According to defence sources, Kishtwar is located at a distance of only 210 km from China and in case of any emergency, aid can be delivered from Kishtwar to the Indo-China border in a very short time.
While talking to Journalist Kalash Nath retired Hony Sub Major Hem Raj Thakur Said that he is excited to hear about the landing of apache helicopters in Kishtwar. He described it a proud moment for the people of Kishtwar that for gating a chance to contribute its share for the nation. He mentioned that earlier lot of soldiers from this land have made sacrifice towards the nation and now again provided a chance to come out for the service of the nation will feel proud.
Giving his full support to the Indian army he said “ I along with other ex-servicemen of Kishtwar are with our army. Serving again for the nation will be his dream come true.”
A youth Anshuman Rathore from Kishtwar said This is a great pride for us that our hometown is being used for protection of Mother Land whenever army needs our help we are ready voluntary at any cost.
