Jammu, November 10:
The terrorists hiding in the forests of the upper hilly region are trying to find their hideout in the low-lying areas.
Intelligence agencies believe that it will not be easy for terrorists to hide in the upper cold areas. So they are contacting their helpers to come to the plains. Security forces are on alert and massive raids and search operations have been conducted in the entire Jammu division.
Doda SSP Sandeep Mehta said the houses of the suspects, including the slain terrorists and surrendered terrorists, are also being searched.
Ramban SSP Arun Gupta said, “Such operations are part of our preventive and intelligence-based operations. It aims to maintain peace and stability in the region.
Kishtwar SSP Naresh Singh said that with an aim to dismantle the terror network and curb anti-national activities.
Rajouri SSP Gaurav Sivarkar said the police are continuing their efforts to strengthen the security grid and maintain peace. A massive cordon and search operation is being carried out at several places in the district.
