Srinagar, May 6:
National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah said that terrorism has not ended yet in Jammu and Kashmir. In the last four years, terrorist attacks are happening even in peaceful areas. Omar said that terrorist attacks are happening continuously in the areas of Srinagar, Rajori and Poonch.
At the same time, in response to a question, Abdullah expressed hope for talks between India and Pakistan. He said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee had said that friends can be changed, but neighbors cannot be changed. A new government is being formed in Pakistan. Government will be formed in the country in June. Let us hope that both the new governments will adopt the path of dialogue.
He said that hatred is being spread in the country. Muslim people are being targeted. The more hatred is spread, the more people will scatter. India has the largest population of Muslims. If hatred is spread against them, how will the country progress?
