Jammu, January 1:
Mohammad Shafi, a resident of Mandhera Gujjar Basti in the district, had stolen 10 goats on December 22. After this, the entire family and 14-year-old son Mushtaq Ahmad spent three days searching for the goats.
On the third day, my son also went missing.
Mohammad Yaqoob, uncle of the missing teenager, said Mushtaq used to graze sheep and goats in the entire village.
As usual, he went out to graze goats on December 22, but when he returned, 10 goats were less. When the family members asked, he told that he had taken the goats to graze in a factory in the industrial area. After that, his family and Mushtaq continued to search for the goats but no clue was found.
On December 25, Mushtaq also did not return home. After inquiring from the surroundings and relatives, a complaint has been lodged at the police station Samba. Family members say that they are nomadic people and earn their livelihood on cattle. The whole family is upset with the disappearance of the goats and the son. The victim, Mohammad Shafi, and his brother Mohammad Yakub have appealed to the police for help. According to police officials, an investigation has been launched on the basis of the complaint. Efforts are on to trace the stolen cattle and juveniles.
