Democratic Azad party Leader Tasleema Akhter on Saturday expressed dismay over the killing of a Kashmiri Pandit, Poran Krishan bhat who was shot at by the unidentified gunmen at district shopian in South Kashmir’s budgam district.
” I strongly condemn it . My whole hearted support and sympathies with the bereaved.
In a statement issued to mercury times, Tasleema Akhter said that the incident is aimed at disturbing the communal harmony in Jammu and Kashmir and till date conflict has claimed so many lives all across the region and this cycle of violence needs to stop at its earliest.
” I unequivocally condemn this attack while at the same time send my heartfelt sympathies to the family members of the deceased. I hope that the perpetrators of the crime are punished at the earliest,” she said.
