Jammu, June 19:
After suspicious activity was seen in the forest near Singhpura village of Chhatru subdivision of Kishtwar district on Tuesday night, the army and police started a joint search operation on Wednesday morning. According to the information, there is a possibility of terrorist activities becoming active again in the area. Security forces have cordoned off the entire area so that the terrorists can be killed. However, the security forces have not yet come face to face with the terrorists.
Two months ago, security forces killed three terrorists in Chhatru. One soldier was martyred in two separate encounters in April and May. According to sources, security forces have intensified the search operation in the forest by taking immediate action after suspicious movement was seen in the area late at night.
