Jammu, March 22:
Two people were killed while two others including a woman were injured when a over speedy truck rammed three motorcycles from behind at Sidco chowk in Bari Brahmana.
In this accident, Kuldeep Singh son of Punjab Singh resident Bishnah of Lala Chakk died on the spot while Sat Pal son Dharam Chand resident of Kotli RS Pura and Jaswinder Singh resident Bishnah were taken to GMC hospital while another woman Sabita Sambyal wife of Tilak Singh resident. Sangwali Mandi Samba was admitted to ESIC Hospital Bari Brahmana.
On reaching GMC hospital, the doctors declared Sat Pal brought dead. The post-mortem of both the people killed in this accident was conducted by the police personnel so that the cause of death could be ascertained.
SHO Bari Brahmana Rakesh Sharma says that the cause of the accident is being investigated. After the accident, the rescued injured were rushed to the hospital, where their treatment has been started.Â
Taking action in the matter, the police took the truck driver into custody. A case was registered against him at Bari Brahmana police station.
