In the Ranji Trophy, the Jammu and Kashmir has made it to the semi-finals by performing brilliantly this season.
After missing out on a run in the quarter-final match in the last Ranji season. The stalwarts of Jammu and Kashmir bounced back this time and defeated the former champions Madhya Pradesh team in their home ground.
The hard work of the entire team, support staff and management is reflected behind this achievement.
But six players left such an impression on the field of play that everyone was convinced of their talent. These stalwarts made decisive contributions with bat and ball. Sometimes the top order scored runs and sometimes the bowlers brought the opposition teams to their knees.
Captain Paras Dogra scored 482 runs at an average of 44. Playing on the crease in times of crisis and taking young players along was his biggest strength, which took the team to the semi-finals. Paras has been captaining the Jammu and Kashmir team for two years.
Wicketkeeper Kanhaiya Wadhawan gave stability to the team in the middle order. When the early wickets fell, they took responsibility and shared the partnership.
