She is greatly appreciated by the villagers for her hard work and dedication. She works with a male colleague at the Hirpora post office and delivers mail and parcels.
She said, I have been working in this department for 25 years. I am thankful to Allah who gives me the courage to deliver parcels. I walk in 5-6 feet of snow and deliver parcels to people. I am happy that I am of help to people.

The husband said that due to the wildlife sanctuary located near Hirpora, there is always a danger of wild animals here. Although Ulfat has never encountered these wild animals.
Ulfat earns Rs 22,000 a month. But her responsibility is not just a job but a lifeline for the villagers. Ulfat believes that this daily effort keeps her fit. Ulfat’s retired postman husband said that he feels proud of his wife’s dedication. Especially during winters, when even young people find it difficult to walk on icy roads.
