40th day of Brahamleen Swami Chidanand Sarswati ji Maharaj was observed on14th June 2021 at Har- ki – poudi Mandir complex Bahu Fort, Jammu. The puja was performed by Shastri Kewal ji. Mantra’s were chanted on the samadhi of Swami ji Maharaj and it unanimously decided by the devotees, dignitaries and managing committee to declare Sh Mahadev who is main Sewadar of Swami ji as Gaddi Nasheen in place of Swami Chidanand Sarswati ji Maharaj and henceforth will be called as Mahant Mahadev Sarswati ji Maharaj. He is authorised to run the affairs of Har ki poudi Mandir complex. He was also authorised to constitute managing committee to run the affairs of Mandir complexes smoothly.
While speaking on this occasion newly declared mahant Mahadev Sarswati ji Maharaj thanked the Sangat (devotees) for giving big responsibility to run the affairs of Mandir complexes. He assured to come to the expectations of dreams of Swami ji. Swami Chidanand Sarswati ji Maharaj gave 40years of his precious life to get Mandir complexes constructed such as Har ki poudi and near Bagh -e-bahu with the help of prominent businessmen of Jammu. The businessmen of Jammu extended whole hearted support to Swami Chidanand Sarswati ji Maharaj. Har ki poudi is one of the best pilgrim tourism.
Sham Lal Basson, Corporator ward no 48 appealed to Hon’ble Mayor JMC, Commissioner JMC, tourism deptt and PWD deptt. to extend the support to develop this area so that more and more tourists visit these pilgrim tourism complexes. He also sought co operation from from locals of Bahu Fort Jammu. He also requested to trustees to upgrade the Nav Durga Charitable trust hospital Bagh- E- Bahu so that poor people of Bahu Fort may utilise the healthcare facilities. Sham Basson disclosed that he had already approached Advisor to hon’ble Governor (Erstwhile) J&K State for the construction of Pooch basti Nallah coming from Bagh mohalla, masjid basti and PWD deptt for approach road to Har ki poudi.
