Jammu, February 11:
A joint operation was conducted by the traffic police and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Nowshera market. During checking drive many vehicles have been seized.
A special drive has been launched in Nowshera market in joint collaboration with Nowshera Traffic Police and Jammu and Kashmir Police to prevent violation of traffic rules.
The objective of this campaign was to take strict action against the increasing disorder, illegal parking and ignoring traffic rules in the market area.
During the drive, many vehicles violating the rules were seized. Several challans of many drivers were deducted.
Traffic Police Sector Officer Mohammad Akbar Malik appealed to the motorists to follow the traffic rules.
He also made it clear that such drives will continue in future.
