Seventh grade student commits suicide by hanging himself in Ramnagar

Udhampur, February 26:

In Nimbla of Ramnagar, a 13-year-old student committed suicide by hanging himself under suspicious circumstances. The deceased Tushar Sharma, son of Pawan Kumar, a resident of Nimbla, was a student of class 7. According to the police, the deceased’s sister Tanu Sharma said that their mother had already died. The father had gone to work in Udhampur.

At home, there were two siblings and an aunt. The brother studied in the seventh grade. He went to school on Monday as usual. He came home in the afternoon and refused to go for tuition. After this, he went to his room. Aunt scolded him for not going for tuition, but he did not come out of the room.

The sister told that she called her brother for dinner at 9 in the night, but he refused and said that he wanted to sleep alone. You also go to sleep. In the morning when she called her brother to go to school, there was no response from inside. When she looked inside from the window, her brother was hanging from a noose. Hearing the sister’s cries, people gathered. Ramnagar police was informed. Police came and broke the door of the room and took the body into custody. After post-mortem at Ramnagar sub-district hospital, the body was handed over to the relatives. Police say that they have registered a case under 174 and started investigation.
