Airtel and Reliance Jio have announced a strategic partnership with SpaceX. It paving the way for the launch of Starlink broadband service in India. Under this partnership, Elon Musk’s company will provide high-speed broadband service in remote and rural areas. For it they will use SpaceX’s network of low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellites . Starlink hardware will soon be available in Reliance Jio and Airtel stores.

It will be much like the DTH umbrella through which people will get internet service, although SpaceX will first have to obtain the necessary permissions from the regulatory authorities to sell Starlink service in India. SpaceX’s Starlink is a satellite-based internet service that uses satellites stationed in low-Earth orbit to provide high-speed internet to remote areas. Starlink’s internet speed depends on various factors, such as location, weather, and network traffic, however on average its speed is as follows.

What are the benefits of Starlink?

Great for areas where fiber or DSL is not available.
