In a simple yet impressive ceremony, Dr. Rajesh Gupta, Principal of GGM Science College Jammu in presence of faculty of Chemistry department, today released three books authored by a group of esteemed faculty members of the Department of Chemistry comprising of Dr. Aashiq Hussain, Dr. Mukhtyar Singh Saini, and Dr. Sukhdeep Singh Sasan.
While divulging the details Dr. Aashiq Hussain, the primary author of the books, shared insights into the books, emphasizing their significance in light of the changes brought about by the implementation of NEP 2020. He highlighted the challenges faced by students and teachers in adapting to the revised curriculum and new skill courses. The books aim to address these challenges by providing updated and comprehensive study material, serving as valuable references for both teachers and students, facilitating efficient and successful academic journeys. Dr. Aashiq further added that the content of the books is meticulously crafted to align with the syllabi prescribed by various universities, ensuring relevance and applicability to the needs of the students.
Dr. M. S. Saini, another author of the books, expressed gratitude to the Principal for recognizing the work of authors. He emphasized the potential benefits of these books to students, stating that they will significantly aid in their studies and contribute to their academic success.
While congratulating the authors of the books, Dr. Rajesh Gupta, Principal GGM Science College said that these books mark commendable efforts by the authors to enhance the educational experience for both faculty and students, aligning with the goals set by the National Education Policy 2020.
