Prime Minister arrived to visit the first Jyotirlinga in Saurashtra, many programs in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, March 2:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was on a Gujarat tour, offered prayers to the first Jyotirlinga – Somnath Mahadev located in Saurashtra. The Prime Minister also attended many other programs in Gujarat before this. PM Modi also performed Abhishek on Mahadev’s Shivling amidst chanting of Vedic mantras. According to reports, PM Modi will also preside over the meeting of Somnath Trust. Earlier, the Prime Minister reached Jamnagar on Saturday evening on a three-day tour. According to the information released regarding the Prime Minister’s program, he will also visit Sasan Gir National Park in Gir district and enjoy jungle safari.

Before visiting Somnath Mahadev, the Prime Minister also visited Reliance Foundation’s animal rescue and rehabilitation center Vantara on Sunday. On March 3, the Prime Minister will start his day by enjoying a jungle safari in Gir National Park. After returning from the jungle safari, PM Modi will also chair an important meeting on the issue of wildlife.

The Prime Minister will chair the meeting of the National Board for Wildlife (NBWL). National level issues related to wildlife will be discussed in this meeting. The NBWL has 47 members, including the Army Chief, members from various states, representatives of NGOs working in this field, Chief Wildlife Wardens and Secretaries of various states. The Prime Minister of the country is the ex-officio chairman of the NBWL. (Agencies)
