Gulmarg, June 28:
As per police, a local was killed while four others were seriously injured in an explosion in Gulmarg on Saturday.
According to the investigation, the blast occurred due to contact with an old and unclaimed explosive lying in the area.
An explosion-like sound was heard in the Sumli Wali Dhok area near Asha outpost in Gulmarg.
According to information, Zubair Ahmad Bajad of Galibal village in Chandusa area of Baramulla district, died on the spot. Four people were also injured in the blast, the official said.
A forensic team has been sent to collect evidence from the spot.
