The clock tower of Lal Chowk has in itself a long history of change. From rallies by separatists in support of Pakistan to stone pelting to protests against terrorism after the Pahalgam attack, this clock tower has seen it all.
On Monday, another milestone was seen here in the form of Tiranga Selfie Point. The historic clock tower of Lal Chowk is crowded with tourists throughout the day. Whoever comes to Kashmir definitely wants to take a photo in front of the clock tower. Even now, every demonstration and rally, be it of any party, starts or ends at the clock tower. Groups of tourists and bikers will be seen taking photos here.
Tiranga Yatras are being taken out at various places. In this sequence, a selfie point has been set up on Monday near the historic clock tower of Lal Chowk by the Jammu and Kashmir Culture Department.
