Senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta on Friday said that PM Narendra Modi-led BJP government will not allow Pakistan to dent country’s interest by using drone technology gained from China and Turkey. He also applauded the security agencies for doing a commendable job in foiling the bid to trigger blasts in Jammu and Kashmir by destroying a drone entering the Indian territory from Kanhachak sector along IB carrying 5 Kg IED. He said that Pakistan will never succeed in realizing the dream of breaking J&K from India as the steps taken by the BJP-led dispensation are pragmatic and have greatly influenced the people of the UT to become nation builders as separatists have lost ground in Valley post August 5, 2019.
Addressing a meeting of BJP Jammu District here at party headquarters, Kavinder made it clear that BJP led dispensation is doing its best in foiling the designs of those working against the interests of the country. He said atmosphere in the country has changed and now no entity can even think of doing anything against the country. He said people should rest assure that J&K is in safe hands now. He said that neutralization of commanders of proscribed terror outfits in the recent times in J&K and recovery of huge quantity of IED is in itself speaks volumes about BJP government doing more than enough to tighten noose around those trying to act against the country. Kavinder said that time has changed and it is in no way possible for the enemies to any longer work against the country as PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have given standing instructions to security agencies to intimidate and eliminate any entity which is trying to create terror or torment the people of the country.
In a statement issued to mercury times, Kavinder also asked the workers to gear up for the elections as the same are on cards. He said that ground level workers are the real ambassadors of the party as they only can disseminate party’s policies at grassroots level. He announced that soon he will be visiting each and every ward of Jammu District to mobilize the party activists to reach out to every household and highlight the good work done by the BJP in the Centre and at UT level. He asked the meeting to lay special focus on efforts taken up by the BJP Cadre in the direction to mitigate the COVID-19 related problems. He also discussed the upcoming schedule of the party activities in the Jammu District. He said that soon he will visit ration dealers in the Gandhi Nagar Constituency and take stock of disbursement of ration under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, through which PM Modi has announced to provide free ration to 80 crore population till coming Deepawali. He said that such kind of bountiful schemes can only be tailored under BJP regime as earlier dispensations led by Congress only believed in looting resources by indulging in scams.
